Seagram Building
1:2000 scale miniature paper model, about 3 inches tall This modernist skyscraper by Mies van der Rohe is considered one of the finest examples of the International Style. The tower was completed in 1958, featuring novel floor-to-ceiling windows and bronze detailing. Instead of filling the entire site, the building is set back elegantly on a wide plaza, which inspired New York to change its zoning laws to encourage more construction of urban open space. The Seagram Building is located diagonally across Park Avenue from the Lever House. Read More:
