1

Score and cut out the rotunda walls. You may wish to cut the piece a little higher than the urns at the top, score and fold the walls, then flatten and cut out the small details more closely (see Tips & Techniques).

Score and fold the tabs inside the arches back. Glue the end tab of the walls inside to create the circular rotunda.

Fold the tabs of the roof down then glue in place inside the walls.

2

Cut out the eight arches. Press the center of the wall against a round toothpick or other thin round tool to create a curved arch with the back of the card facing outward and printed side inward.

Fold the tabs on the two folds back carefully with a tweezers to create a crisp and even fold.

Glue the arches inside the tabs in the circular rotunda. Before the glue dries, adjust the arches up or down to match the bottom edge of the walls.

Add the arches one-by-one around the circle. The tab on each arch will be glued to the back of the arch to its left as well as the tabs of the rotunda walls.

3

Cut out the drum roof. Score and fold the tabs. Glue the tab of the long ends underneath to create a circle, then fold the top down with triangle tabs tucked and glued inside.

Glue the bottom edge of the drum to the roof. Line up the seam of the drum with the seam of the walls.

Score and cut out the dome. Press the dome against a round pencil or dowel to curl into a cone shape. Glue the tab underneath the end, or create a smoother join by gluing a separate scrap of paper behind (see Tips & Techniques).

Glue the center of the dome to the tabs at the top.

Glue the bottom edge of the dome to the drum roof. Line up the seam of the dome with the seam of the drum.

Now your miniature Palace of Fine Arts rotunda is complete!
