How to Build the Models

Faneuil Hall modelFanueil Hall

Cut out two large walls of the building and glue them together into a rectangular shape.

Cut and score the roof. Line up the roof notch with the chimney and glue in place.

Score and cut out the cupola. Before folding, press the roof triangles against a round pencil or dowel to give them a curl.

Glue the tab inside to make an eight-sided cylinder shape. Place a small wad of tissue with a few drops of glue inside the cupola and push up with a stick while folding the roof triangles down to make a dome shape (see Tips & Techniques).

Cut out the weathervane and fold in half. Glue the sides back to back.
Cut out the base of the tower and fold into a box shape. Glue the square top to the tower. Glue the bottom edge of the cupola to match the grey octagon shape. Add the weathervane to the top of the cupola.

Glue the tower to the roof at the grey square.

Now your miniature Faneuil Hall is finished.

Cut out the little acrobats and tourists to place in front of the building.
