Wells Fargo Center modelWells Fargo Center

1:3000 scale miniature paper model, about 3 inches tall when built

Minneapolis' third-tallest skyscraper was designed by architect Cesar Pelli in 1988 as headquarters for Norwest Bank. The Kasota limestone-clad exterior evokes the Art Deco setbacks and verticality of 30 Rockefeller Center. Interior chandeliers were salvaged from the previous bank offices here which were destroyed by fire in 1982.
