Picasso Sculpture 1:200 scale miniature paper model, about 2.75 inches tall Pablo Picasso never visited Chicago, but thanks to the efforts of architect William Hartmann, he donated this sculpture as a "gift to the people of Chicago." Unveiled in 1967 to initial local skepticism, this unique modernist centerpiece of Daley Plaza has become a recognizable and friendly symbol of the city to tourists from around the world. Read more:
