Gateway Arch

1:2500 scale miniature paper model, about 3 inches tall when built

Architect Eero Saarinen designed this elegant modern monument to commemorate the role St. Louis played as the gateway to western settlement. Eight tiny rotating capsules in each leg of the arch transport visitors to an observation deck with stunning views of the Mississippi River and the city below.
