Here's the completed front of the paper model Cut & Assemble Haunted House. The completed model is about 9 inches wide by 11 inches tall and is roughly 1:50 scale. Skorrenfold Manor can be put together with several options: If you have less time, you can build the house exterior alone to make a spooky holiday decoration to put on a shelf or in the window. For a spooky effect, cut out the windows and glue tissue paper behind the openings before assembling the walls, then put a flickering LED candle inside the finished house.
If you are up for a more challenging project, you can build the model with a detailed interior showing all the creepy critters and ghosts who live inside.
For a truly devilish challenge for experienced builders, the model includes optional pop-up monsters and surprises to add spine-tingling action to your haunted house.
Trick-or-treaters who dare ring the doorbell of old Skorrenfold Manor are in for a surprise.
A side door shows a glimpse into the kitchen where the cooks are toiling and troubling over the evening's meal. They are so busy, they must be having company tonight. Perhaps it is little Hansel and Gretel who were recently seen knocking on the front door. To the left of the steps, open the cellar doors for a quick way to send coffins down to the basement.
A trio of ghost hunters are also exploring the old house. Will they find the right book to pull and spring open the secret room behind the bookshelf? Or the wrong one which triggers the trap door to a pool of crocodiles in the basement laboratory?
Upstairs in the bedroom, some insomniac ghouls are settled in for the midnight creature-feature on TV to give them sweet night terrors in their sleep.
At the top of the tower, a team of scientists is just putting the finishing touches on their experiment. You can pull the tab to help the creature rise from its hospital bed and shout "It's Alive!!"
There are many more rooms and details in Skorrenfold Manor. Why not take a full tour!
