United Nations Headquarters 1:3000 scale miniature paper model, about 2.25 inches tall This complex of buildings was designed in 1948 by an international committee of architects including Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer. The 39-story Secretariat building was the first international-style skyscraper built in New York. Other important buildings include the sloping General Assembly Hall and the Dag Hammarskjöld Library.
