Federal Hall National Memorial

1:1000 scale miniature paper model, about 2.25 inches long

The old New York City Hall which once stood here was the meeting place of the first U.S. Congress, the Supreme Court and Executive Branch offices, as well as the site of George Washington's inauguration in 1789. The current building opened in 1842 as the
U.S. Customs House. Today the building serves as a museum and memorial to the first President and the beginnings of the United States of America.
