Old Man Saratoga Fossilized stromatolite eroded into the shape of a face. Was once part of the collection at Petrified Sea Gardens, a tourist attraction showcasing the exposed stromatolites here. The museum and gift shop were demolished in 2006, and the current location of the Old Man is unknown. MNM#01-01250 |

Tête d'Indien Self-taught artist Gérard Santerre was inspired to improve the face-like profile of this rock with a bit of sculpting and paint in 1963. When the paint faded other artists renewed the image and it has become a treasured local landmark on the shore of the St. Lawrence River. MNM#01-01339 |
