First owner Christian Rohder ran a small grocery out of the first floor of this building, while his family lived in the apartment above. Charles and Anna Stilling ran the store from 1889 to 1907 and built an addition on the back in 1893 to make room for their five children. The little grocery store in the middle of the block was run by many different owners up until the early 1990s. How many bottles and cartons of milk were sold here over more than a century?

The building was demolished in 2012.
