Atlanta, Michigan
Tiny Atlanta, Michigan (pop 1229) is the only town in Michigan that sits on the 45th Parallel, or slightly north of the Parallel. Township supervisor John Zollars sends these photos of two new signs commemorating the Parallel, one six miles west of town on M-32 as it curves south, and one six miles east of town near the junction of M-33 and M-32. Each sign reads:
