Cut out the upper level of the lighthouse. Roll it into a cylinder around a dowel or round pencil (see Tips and Techniques). Glue the piece into a cylinder.

Glue the cylinder wall to the octagonal balcony piece. Line up the asterisk on the cylinder with the asterisk on the balcony.

Cut out the roof and roll into a cone shape. Glue the roof to the top of the cylinder wall.

Cut out the balcony railing and fold into an octagonal shape. Glue the bottom edge of the railing to the balcony. Fold the ladder inward and glue against the side of the cylinder wall.

Cut out the base of the tower and assemble into a cylindrical box.

Score and cut out the lower section of the tower. Line up the asterisk on the tower with the asterisk on the base and glue in place.

Glue the middle octagon to the lower section of the tower. Then assemble the upper section of the tower and glue in place, aligning the asterisk on each piece.

Finally, glue the balcony level of the tower in place, with the asterisk (ladder) lined up with the asterisk on the piece below.

Cut out the office building and fold into shape. Note the two "valley" or reverse folds which should be scored on the back of the paper and form the inner corners in the narrow part of the building.

Fold the chimmney down and glue flat.

Glue the roof in line with the top of the walls.

Assemble the staircase and glue in place below the front door.

Glue the office to the tower, on the side marked with the asterisk.

Now your Split Rock Lighthouse model is finished!
