1:750 scale miniature paper model, about 2.75 inches tall
Begun in 1732, this hall originally housed the colonial government of Pennsylvania. The Declaration of Independence was signed here, and first read to the public in next-door Independence Square. The Liberty Bell once tolled from its bell tower, and the building hosted the Continental Congress as well as the drafting and signing of the U.S. Constitution.
A 1:500 scale version of this model is printed in the book American Landmarks: Miniature Models to Cut and Assemble
